Mini40 Cat - First Launch - Sucess
Thank you for all the name suggestions, I think I will need some more trials to find the right name - for now I would call her RightSpin.
I have launched the Cat yesterday morning in light winds. The centre board was a bit misaligned and the boat had the urge for a right turn all the times.
Except of this the RightSpin (temporary name) sailed great. I will have to do some modifications to the middle frame to lift it further off the waves.
As promised I have added a video clip today.

Your blog is not bothering me, i can assure you :-)
The only "problem" is that Voile-RC is a platform written in French language. And must remain so, out of respect for all those readers who do not read English ...
In fact, it made some time I'm looking for motivated people to launch an English version of this site. If you're interested and you have time to devote to, this could be an interesting idea. Would you be interested in being a "community leader" if I release an English version of Voile-RC?
If this is the case, contact me via private message and we can discuss the subject seriously :-)

sorry that my blog in English is bothering you. My French is so horrible that I choose English to write here - I would recommend all who have problems with English to use translate.google.com or a similar translation software to read my blog in French.

Bonjour Roland.
Je lis avec plaisir tes billets de blog, néanmoins, je te rappelle que Voile-RC est une plateforme "en français"... Cela ferait plaisir à tous les membres qui ne lisent pas l'Anglais (et ils sont une majorité) que tu puisse les écrire en Français...
Si tu as du mal avec le français (lecture ou écriture), n'hésites pas à m'envoyer un message privé, on verra s'il existe d'autres solutions...
